Hello, I suppose I should get some thoughts down here. I am not sure how much worldbuilding you want us to do in character creation, but I was getting the vibe of a smaller town starting point surrounded by... farmland and then wilderness as a point-of-light thing? I'm thinking of a person trained as a smith or craftsman who has discovered an innate magical ability of some sort, but I don't have more fleshed out than that.
