Some general thoughts I had that didn't apply to only one specific character, from when I was reviewing what's out there in the MCG tools now: Equipment! I haven't talked about price tiers vs. gold at all yet, have I? I'm up for whatever the group would prefer. Counting gold is obviously a big component of games the old way, but becomes less important as people turn up the "narrative" slider, and yet it can still be fun to keep track of in elfgames. I'm good either way you want to do it. It looks like Murph went with the price tiers approach, which is fine by me. You can get a sense of equipment lists in general, and how they relate to book starting equipment of e.g. "two expensive items, etc.", here: https://callmepartario.github.io/og-csrd/#medieval-fantasy-equipment. (And of course they will be more fantastic with the magitech element). Anyway, let me know what you're feeling interested in. Cyphers and their framing: the fantasy genre is great because basically anything is plausible as a physical magic item, rather than having to constrain your cyphers or their concepts to manifest vs. subtle and so on. The builder gives you some starting cyphers randomly; feel free to frame these in terms of traditional fantasy game naming structures (it's not a Burst of Speed Cypher, it's a /potion of speed/ or something). Many types of cyphers are probably totally fine, especially with the "...in a fantasy world" filter applied, but let me know if you have any questions. The Connections section of the sheet seems like as good a place as any to put the Relationships we've been talking about so far. -- bss (Brian S. Stephan) | https://bss.zone/ | GPG: 0x80895FCB
