But if this is some intangible, ominous change in the environment, she is less sure she wants to stick around for that. She would look to see what her comrades are doing. Prepping to run? She’d try to clear a path. If they are looking like they are sticking around, then it’s game on.

A glance over the available literature doesn't seem to provide anything promising either on the subject of crafting or why Gegren has horns now, so, with a passing backward glance, Gegren strides forward and says "We should probably move on, it's getting a little weird in here".
Knife out, spells at the ready, Gegren continues on, sending the floating torch before him to illuminate the way ahead. As he does so, he has a passing thought that it's weird and disturbing how quickly the casual telekinesis has become.
