If you're looking for a quick summary of where in the "high fantasy" scale my head is at, my favorite settings (other than FR, which is a kitchen sink, so little help) include Eberron for its factions and higher magi-tech level and pulp-y stuff, and the 13th Age Dragon Empire for its willingness to break any traditional high fantasy mold it wants to and essentially say "a wizard did it" at scale, and again for its factions. (An aside, I haven't pulled the trigger on a choice on this yet, but I keep thinking about how easy it'd be to include relationship dice in this game.)
I went and tried writing it up. I think I like this, let me know what you think but let's include this in character creation? https://orb.moe/cypher/homebrew#relationship-connections I also realized that I should probably point again on the list at character creation options. In lieu of direct lists and whatnot, consider these lists to be fairly representative but not totally inclusive of what you can use in character creation (especially if you have a good unusual concept).
